Redesigning Poster

Reason for redesign: 
  • The graphics used do not represent the information used
  • Information is too small and is not hilighted, lack of hierarchy of information
  • Inconsistent fonts were used.

To be done:
  • Use graphics that correlates with the informations
  • Use fonts that are consistent (all are sans-serif fonts)
  • Bold important informations that correlates with the graphics used (more hierarchy)
  • Add graphics accordingly to targeted audience (school students = fun design)

What is done:
  • Make different layers for each text
  • Add a Null layer to do make the animation there
  • Make all layer 3D to set the Z axis
  • Apply Motion blur to all layers
  • Apply Easy Ease (F9) in the keyframes

Tools used
  • Anchor tool (to change the direction of the animation)
  • Puppet pin tool (to animate the fix positions and move them to the another position)
  • Rotation stop watch (make the hand wave, wiggle)

Exercise 1: Quantify data

To be done:
  • Arrange sticky notes based on its size and material used
  • Divided into 5 various sizes, XS, S, M, L, XL


Exercise 2: L.A.T.C.H Infographic

To be done:
  • Make an infographic based on the LATCH Rule, consisting a minimum of 4 rules
  • For this project I used 4 of the rules, Location, Timeline, Category, and Hierarchy

LATCH
  • Location: the sky, grass, ground, and sea, represents the location and element of the pokemon
  • Timeline: the evolution timeline of each Pokemons
  • Category: each Pokemons has different elements, they are the categories
  • Hierarchy: hierarchy from the smallest level to the biggest level of Pokemon,

Kinetic Typography: Discuss about the art direction, whether you want to follow the Music Video or Lyric video
