Mural Competition
Experience
We were engaged to make a group to draw on an A1 paper with mainly color pencils and other medias. The theme of this Mural drawing is Unity through Diversity.
We came up with something with drawing a face where the face parts consist of different races started from the skin colors to the eyes. With different art styles and medias we have, the drawings will be very diverse. For the background, we came up with an idea of compiling all different cultures in one, such as Chinese New year with its barongsai, Deepavali with its candle, Nasi Lemak, Satay, Teh Tarik, Bunga Raya, and Batik.
It was very lovely for us to get a chance to win the first price in this Mural Design Competition!
