Picking Designs

Students were told to pick 3 most favorite graphic design images from Pinterest and describe why.

Design #1:

Description:

The color of the poster with the glowing moon caught my eye.

This Poster expressed :

It is pleasant to see the contrasting colors between objects with the boy who is flying towards the glowing moon. Even though there are a lot of objects, the colors used are minimal so there aren’t too much focus distracting. The title itself is concise and not too dramatic, it blends well with the background.

Design #2:

Description:

When I first saw this poster, the word in the bubble caught my eye.

This Poster expressed :

A crystalized word surrounded by flowers and butterflies looked very elegant and refreshing. The little white flower with 2 little butterflies approaching it contrasts with the green background. Hence, It’s a simple yet pleasing poster.

Design #3:

Description:

It’s pleasing to see the vibrant colors that are contrasting to one another.

This Poster expressed :

It shows a girl using a VR trying to reach the console. The background illustrates her view in the console which seems to be imaginary. The colors in the poster may vary but it has a nice distribution which makes it pleasing and funky.
