Feedback
<back to top>
Moreover, as the project progressed, I was able to apply the research outcomes into the visual design phase, beginning with moodboard exploration and moving into layout and graphic refinement. Feedback from the lecturer guided me to improve my visual hierarchy, spacing, and overall presentation, which enhanced the clarity of my design. This experience taught me that effective design is not only about aesthetics, but also about communication and usability. Overall, this module has helped me develop stronger research, analytical, and visual design skills, while reinforcing the value of feedback and iterative improvement in the creative process.
Reflection
Throughout this semester, I realized that conducting research is more challenging and time-consuming than I initially expected, especially when working on the literature review. While finding relevant sources was manageable, understanding, comparing, and synthesising them into my own writing required much more critical thinking and patience. I learned that a good literature review is not just about summarising existing studies, but about identifying patterns, gaps, and relationships between different perspectives. Through consultations and revisions, I became more aware of the importance of proper citation, paraphrasing, and academic integrity, which pushed me to be more careful and intentional in how I presented information.
