Task 2 - Composition:

Week 4-5

Fig 1.1 - Character

I made the sketch and send it to Mr Hafiz, he told me to refer to the Framed Ink book. As said, I used the Big Medium Small as my sketch has different size of objects, also contrast. After so, I finally make the background in Adobe Illustrator.

Reflection

I made the sketch and send it to Mr Hafiz, he told me to refer to the Framed Ink bookThrough this, I gained a deeper understanding of how composition enhances storytelling and visual impact. While working on this project, I wished I had more time to explore different compositions to further refine my work. One key lesson I learned was the importance of lighting. When learning the gradient tool, it helped me realize how lighting placement significantly affects the mood and depth of an image.

Since my work follows a Halloween theme, I aimed to make the entire composition with a dim lighting to create more atmosphere. Experimenting with lighting and gradients allowed me to achieve a more immersive effect to the overall work.
